Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from the people I serve, especially seniors. For over 15 years in healthcare, I’ve worked with a generation that helped build the world we live in today. As technology advances quickly, many feel left behind. I believe it’s our responsibility to bring things full circle by helping them feel confident and included in the future. That mission of trust, respect, and education inspires my work with Chears.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by focusing on purpose rather than pressure. As a futurist, I believe people need something positive to look forward to. I also have two young boys, ages five and three, and their generation will inherit a world shaped by rapidly evolving technology. That reminds me every day why this work matters—helping people understand and adapt today so the next generation can step confidently into tomorrow.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the $25,000 into expanding Chears’ educational outreach. Many people—especially seniors and families—are curious about technologies like artificial intelligence, blockchain, digital security, and smart homes that can help seniors live more safely and independently. The funding would support simple workshops and digital tools that make these technologies understandable and accessible so more people can confidently participate in the future.
