Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I’m inspired by entrepreneurs who build solutions to problems others overlook, especially in science and climate. Their work shows that innovation often begins with questioning systems that exclude people or ideas. That mindset drives me to build Flor Biosciences—transforming barriers in biotechnology into opportunities for broader access, resilience, and impact.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering why I started: to build scientific solutions that expand who gets to participate in innovation. Every challenge is a reminder that meaningful change rarely happens within comfortable systems. Progress, curiosity, and the possibility of creating tools that help both people and the planet keep me moving forward.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to secure lab access and begin building a proof-of-concept prototype for Flor Biosciences. This funding would support essential experiments, materials, and validation work needed to demonstrate the robustness of our biological platform. Achieving early technical proof would allow me to attract partners, pursue additional funding, and accelerate the development of accessible climate biotechnology solutions.
