Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from community builders (educators, organizers, and entrepreneurs) who create opportunities where systems have fallen short. As an educator and consultant, I’ve seen the brilliance in underserved communities and the barriers that limit access to resources. That drives me to build ventures that center education, empowerment, and sustainable growth so communities can create lasting generational impact.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering who the work is for. Every student, educator, and entrepreneur who gains clarity, confidence, and opportunity through my work reinforces the mission. My motivation is rooted in purpose and service. When you see the real impact your work has on people and communities, it becomes a responsibility to keep building, learning, and creating pathways for others.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the $25,000 into expanding community-centered workshops and events that equip educators, entrepreneurs, and small organizations with practical tools to grow. The funding would also support travel to conferences across the U.S. to share strategies, build partnerships, and bring new insights back to the communities I serve, thus expanding access to knowledge, networks, and opportunity.
