Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from the children and families I serve every day. Seeing children grow, learn, and gain confidence reminds me why I started Lady L’s Little Angels Daycare. As a single mother and business owner, I’m also inspired by my faith and the desire to build something meaningful that supports families in my community. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive while helping parents pursue their dreams.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering my purpose. Every child that walks through my doors deserves a safe place to learn and grow. My faith, my daughters, and the families I serve push me to keep going even when challenges arise. I also remind myself that building a strong childcare program creates opportunities not only for children, but for the entire community. Knowing that my work makes a difference keeps me focused and determined.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With the $25,000, I would invest in expanding and improving Lady L’s Little Angels Daycare. The funds would help purchase new educational materials, classroom furniture, and updated learning equipment to support early childhood development. I would also invest in staff training and curriculum resources to strengthen the quality of care we provide. This investment would allow us to better serve families in our community and create a stronger learning environment for every child.
