Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from my family and how I was raised. My mom pushed me to start, and my grandmother gave me my first machine. Our church and daycare became my first clients. I grew up around entrepreneurs, builders, and leaders, and saw Black excellence firsthand. That shaped my mindset. From starting small to growing a real business, I’m driven to create jobs, uplift my Harrisburg community, and help the next generation see what’s possible.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by growth and responsibility. I’m building something bigger than myself, and that keeps me focused. My family, my wife and kids drive me to provide and lead by example. My team and my community push me to show up every day with discipline and consistency. I’m always working to improve, expand, and operate at a higher level, knowing that my progress creates opportunities for others.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use it to scale LHB Clean Team by hiring and developing a team, investing in equipment to increase efficiency, and strengthening our systems. While I’m still hands-on in the day-to-day, my focus is building a structured business that can grow beyond me, take on larger contracts, and create real jobs and long-term opportunity in my community.
