Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from my grandmother and great aunts, whose artwork fills the Inn. They created with care, intention, and pride—values I carry into my business every day. Beyond that, I’m inspired by the ability to take a vision and turn it into something real—something people can experience, remember, and feel long after they leave.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the fact that I’m building something that didn’t exist before. Every decision, every detail, every guest experience is part of that. I don’t wait for motivation—I rely on discipline and momentum. Once you start seeing results, it becomes addictive to keep going.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would reinvest it directly into The Kings Throne Inn to elevate the guest experience—enhancing rooms, expanding offerings, and refining the property’s historic charm. I’d also invest in marketing and systems to grow direct bookings and strengthen the brand, allowing the Inn to reach more people and create even more memorable stays.
