Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I pursue entrepreneurship with one goal in mind: to set an example my daughters and nieces can believe in. I want them to see that success isn’t about avoiding hardship but about how you rise after it. Life has knocked me down, but resilience, discipline, and belief in my goals keep me moving forward. I’m building something meaningful not just for myself, but to prove that persistence and courage can turn setbacks into opportunity and success.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by focusing on purpose and progress. My daughters and nieces remind me why I started, and that keeps my vision clear. I also break big goals into small wins so I can see momentum every day. Entrepreneurship isn’t about constant motivation; it’s about discipline, learning from setbacks, and continuing to build even when things get hard.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the funds to grow Cardex Solutions by building scalable automation tools that help small businesses operate more efficiently. The investment would go toward developing productized automation services, strengthening marketing and brand credibility, and building automated systems for sales and client onboarding. I would also form strategic partnerships with local businesses and agencies to expand reach. The goal is to create sustainable growth while helping small businesses grow.
