Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My biggest inspiration in business is my mother. After she had a heart attack, too much oxygen went to her brain and she lost the ability to walk and talk. I taught her how to communicate with me using her eyes—blinking more than once meant yes, and one hard blink meant no. One day after I came back from an event, I told her, “Mama, your name is going to be in lights one day.” She looked at me and blinked yes. That moment reminds me that everything I build is to honor her stren

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering my “why.” My mother is my biggest inspiration, and everything I do is to honor her strength and the belief she had in me. I’m also motivated by my passion for creating, cooking, and bringing people together. No matter the challenges, I remind myself that success takes consistency, faith, and hard work. I keep pushing forward because I know the vision I have for my life and my business is bigger than any obstacle.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were awarded the $25,000, I would invest it into rebuilding and growing my business. Unfortunately, my food trailer recently broke down, which has made it difficult to operate and generate income. These funds would allow me to repair or replace the necessary equipment so I can get back to serving customers. I would also invest in quality ingredients, supplies, and marketing to continue building my brand. Most importantly, it would help me keep moving forward with my mission !
