Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I credit the StartED Up Foundation as my inspiration in business. This organization has influenced me to start my own business and see problems as opportunities. Don Wettrick and his team are incredible and they supply young entrepreneurs with resources like no other. They constantly support young entrepreneurs at all stages and encourage us to keep a tight-knit alumni community.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by surrounding myself with encouraging people. The best way to keep yourself motivated is to find people with the same goals and focus as you so they can push you forward and make you be the best version of yourself. I go every Tuesday to a maker space to collaborate with other younger entrepreneurs in my area to keep myself accountable. The collaboration in that environment drives me to continue with my business and make an impact in my community.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I will reinvest it in my company. My company does not have a lot of money right now and that money will be used to launch my first product. I have put a lot of time and effort into the research my product needs and all that is left is capital. I will use it to produce product to sample out to local soccer programs around me.
