Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My family is my inpiration. My 19 yr. Old son works side by side with me and my 17 year old daughter is starting cosmetology in August. The Legacy and generational wealth is my core "why". I started cutting hair at 13 in 1998. Now a shop suite owner, and instructor teaching others make it a constant inspiration as well.

How do you stay motivated?

Constantly learning is my motivation. As a barber and activist in my community, I gain wisdom from many sources from children to adults. Mentoring, teaching, learning from and guiding these young men is priceless. Growing up without a father myself, My son and I pour everything into these young men. It has always and will forever be the core of Legacy Cuts.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I am highly vested in my community in Longview, TX. So I would get with my city counsil and donate 5,000.00 to the right mental illness organization. I would most def speak with a publisher and write my book and begin my shortfilm I have been working on. I would patent and create my son and I's prototype clippers. Starting a product line would be a major move as well. I would pay up my suite rent for 6 months and throw a party dowtown for the homeless to eat good food and have a good time!
