Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My late father has always been my inspiration in business. I started managing his properties and shops with simple excel sheets and producing data for his business at the age of 15. I always loved working on computers and grew my interest in creating an impact in the digital space. I was the go-to guy whenever any of my friends or family had an issue with their computer. Whilst most of my friends enjoyed hanging out, I was always behind a computer.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by consistently creating and innovating. With tech your job is never done, we have to keep finding ways to make things easier. I am always researching new ways and thinking 10 steps ahead of time. I also read a lot of books that have inspired my journey and still do up to today. Some of these books include, Think and Grow Rich, Power of the Subconscious Mind, The Alchemist, Greatest Salesman in the World and my best book of all time is The Bible.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25K, I’d accelerate Taaply’s growth by investing in product development, digital marketing, and strategic partnerships to scale our smart networking and digital identity solutions globally. I’d also support early customer acquisition to validate markets and drive sustainable revenue. We believe in giving back, so we are going to support young entrepreneurs to aspire for greatness with training and mentorship.
