Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My biggest inspiration is my family and the immigrant community. I came to the U.S. with big dreams and learned that hard work and resilience can change your life. Seeing other immigrants build businesses from nothing motivates me to keep growing and to show others that it’s possible to create opportunities, support your family, and give back to the community.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering where I started and why I began. Every challenge reminds me that growth requires persistence. My team, my family, and the customers who support our bakery inspire me every day. Knowing that our business creates jobs, brings joy to people, and represents our culture keeps me pushing forward.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I win the $25,000, I will donate it to a Houston organization that helps reunite immigrant families. At La Hacienda Bakery, my purpose is to bring people together and create memories. I know how painful it is to be apart from loved ones, so I want to help families stay united. This is bigger than me. it’s about love, hope, and being together again.
