Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration for my business was myself to tell you the absolute truth. I was running from myself since 13. I suffered from unhealed trauma, which propelled me into 15 years of escapism. I always managed on my own whether I was without a home in South FL or sleeping on a couch in Albany, NY. My will to survive was protected. In 2010, I moved to Worcester, MA and starting healing. I moved into my own apartment and started to believe I could be someone. I went back to Graduate School at 27 at BC

How do you stay motivated?

My motivation comes from stagnation in the years past. When I show up to work it is not just a job, this is my life. I have the opportunity to work with young adults & teach them how to regulate their emotions, assist in identity formation, collaborate on goals for the present & future, dissect & understand the impact of their past & to practice distress tolerance in the present. What would you do with the $25,000?

With this investment, Tranquil Trails Counseling will be able to expand access to affordable therapy, enhance clinician expertise, and strengthen community education around mental health. The funding would directly support both immediate clinical services and the long-term sustainability of high-quality care for young adults. Tranquil Trails would expand services, reduce barriers to care, and invest in clinician development.
