How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the "hands-on" nature of the trades. There is a unique satisfaction in taking a 1950s layout and re-engineering it with 21st-century smart technology. Solving technical bottlenecks on a job site—whether in plumbing, electrical, or climate control—keeps my mind sharp. I am also deeply driven by the goal of teaching these vocational skills to others, ensuring that the craftsmanship of the past meets the technical requirements of the future.

What would you do with the $25,000?

This grant will accelerate the development of high-tech residential projects and vocational training. I will invest $15,000 in advanced diagnostic tools and smart-integration equipment to increase the precision of my HVAC and contracting work. The remaining $10,000 will be used to launch a training initiative focused on teaching the "New Trades"—combining traditional electrical and mechanical skills with modern automation—to empower a new generation of skilled technicians.
