Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My family. I became a caregiver and quickly realized there was no tool built for people like me. Someone managing another person's health while trying to stay afloat. I watched caregivers lose savings, miss deductions, and fall through the cracks of a system that wasn't designed for them. That experience became CountedCare. Every feature we build is something I wish I had. My users aren't a market segment. They're my community.

How do you stay motivated?

The caregivers I hear from every week. Someone tracks their first expense and realizes they've been leaving money on the table for years. A daughter caring for her mom with dementia finally feels like someone built something for her. That's what keeps me going. This work is personal. I'm building because 63 million people are doing one of the hardest jobs in America with almost no financial support. That gap shouldn't exist. I'm here to close it.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I'd put it directly into user growth. CountedCare is live on the App Store and Google Play with beta users in Southern California. The $25K would fund targeted digital acquisition, specifically reaching Alzheimer's and dementia caregivers who have the highest out-of-pocket costs and the most to gain. It would also accelerate our state partnership work, starting with Oklahoma, where we're positioning CountedCare as the distribution infrastructure for the first state caregiver tax credit in the
