Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My passion for cancer research, green energy, and water sports make me uniquely suited to carry out Wick’s company visions and values. My experience in sales and my studies in entrepreneurial/inventor courses bring some expertise to my passion and determination as the person with the vision behind the product. I am the best person to run the company, and I am also willing to seek help from experts as needed.

How do you stay motivated?

I have always loved being out on the water and loved spending time in nature, but my mother figure gave me the passion and determination to never give up on myself or my dreams, even when others doubted me. After she died from brain cancer, I stumbled across the movie “The Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet.” I was inspired to explore new ways to harness green energy for recreational water activities to protect the environment. You can’t beat someone who never gives up.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’m working with an experienced Marine Technician to bring the vision to life. The first prototype will be built through a specialized metal fabrication shop using marine grade aluminum for an estimated cost of $2,500 to $5,000 CAD. Afterwards, I need enough financial backing to bring the motor to market. This would be a perfect to boost up my company to build the first full boat prototype.
