Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I find my inspiration in the everyday interactions of cafe culture: the people that make these places beautiful, the teams, the guests. The connections in these third places are indispensable and are undeniable catalysts for change in our lives. Our everyday routines and rituals and serendipitous moments truly shape the the world around us in environments created to foster care and creativity.

How do you stay motivated?

My passion for the interactions I've seen throughout my career in hospitality is supported by this beautiful community. My drive to stay focused and the deep resonance of my work is frequently reflected back to me by the people in my life and the communities that I seek to serve. I see myself and my experiences in others, and I work daily to encourage moments of connection, support and wonder through my storytelling and advocacy.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25,000 investment from Entrepreneur of Impact will be used to support my team to visit and document cafe across the U.S. around the world and share their stories. We'll enhance our existing infrastructure for recording live in cafes and invite hospitality professionals to share their stories on our podcast & social media channels. We'll distribute our print and online resources to a wider audience to make sure that more people hear the stories of these beautiful people and beautiful pla
