Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My mother is the reason I became a social entrepreneur. She started from nothing, yet gave so much. As a single mother in Lima, she fought every day to provide for us, but still found time to serve others with love and purpose. She faced hardship with resilience, always smiling, proud of her roots, and showing up with dignity. Her life taught me that true success is not just about rising, but lifting others along the way.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by impact. If I can change one life, it’s enough. As a volunteer at Aprende y Prospera, seeing students and fellow volunteers grow reminds me why I do this. The programs I help build create real transformation, and that makes every evening after work, weekend, and holiday I dedicate worth it. Watching others thrive fuels my purpose and inspires me to keep going.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I believe education for job security should be free and accessible to all. I would use the $25,000 to build a website and an e-learning platform for Aprende y Prospera, making our specialized and entrepreneurial courses freely available online. This would let more people learn at their own pace and create a bigger impact in their lives.
