Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from the energy of high-performing individuals, whether they be athletes, fitness fanatics or entrepreneurs. I am utterly enamoured by people who push beyond limits, embrace the grind, and build something extraordinary from nothing. That electric feeling you get when attending a sporting/fitness event or a motivational speech - the grit, the discipline, and refusal to accept mediocrity - is the same spirit I try to channel into my business and the ethos of my brand.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by watching cheesy motivational content, practicing visualization, and reading self-development books. I am big into manifestation/law of attraction and love to day dream about my goals. What gets me through 60-min of stair-master, is obsessively thinking about my business and vision. I am a firm believer that we can learn just about anything and we are meant to create. I cope with life's stressors by pushing myself in the gym or immersing myself in my work.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest in innovative technology that can expand our treatment options, help us serve more clients, give us competitive differentiation, increase our revenue and add asset-value. In particular, a device called EMsculpt NEO, which was originally used for aesthetics, is now being used more and more for functional medicine. It is clinically backed, peer reviewed and FDA approved. With technology, we won't have to rely only on labor based methods, which limit results and scalability.
