As a person in long-term recovery myself, I am passionate about helping others rebuild their lives and find hope. I hold certifications in Recovery Coaching, Peer Mentoring, Dialectical Behavior Therapy with Prolonged Exposure, Assertive Community Treatment, and as a Substance Abuse Treatment Specialist. I stay motivated by focusing on helping others find meaning and purpose in their lives. Being part of someone’s growth and recovery reminds me of the bigger picture and why this work matters. It keeps me grounded and committed, knowing that what I do contributes to something greater than myself.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With the $25,000, I would take the necessary steps to transition my LLC into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, allowing me to expand services and access additional funding opportunities. The funds would also be used to secure a building in Detroit to establish transitional housing for men and women facing substance abuse and mental health challenges. This space would provide a safe, stable environment where individuals can begin rebuilding their lives, access supportive services, and work toward a better q
