Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business is my father Machroyce Corbitt, Sr. He owned his own janitorial business and was a leader in the community. He not only worked from sun up to sun down, but he found time to be a Deacon in the church, a Boys Scout leader, a member of the church choir, member of the Chamber of Commerce, a great father, husband, and uncle to his many family members.

How do you stay motivated?

Most business owners lose motivation and struggle with getting up each day to go to work. They would rather stay home or go on vacation instead of go to work. I on the other hand love my job. My faith that eveything will workout gets me up each day. My family pushes me to do more and to do better, and I care about the people who come to my business each day who support me and need my help. What motivates me is faith, my family, and knowing that I am needed and appreciated by my customers.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I have dreamed many nights on how I could use different amounts of funding for my business and my family. $25,000 would truly be a blessing. I would use the $25,000 in the following ways, I would use a portion to fix up the building’s interior and exterior, I would use a portion for education, a portion for marketing, and lastly, I would invest in new equipment and supplies. These things would help improve the look of my business, build awareness, and improve the services I currently of
