Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

What inspired me in my business was seeing how different races of women can wear all different types of hairstyles. When I was little I would play in my own hair, watching videos on how to do different styles. From that day forward, I knew I wanted to feel beautiful and also make other women feel beautiful as well. Showing all race of women that going natural or not doesn't define who you are just by the way you look.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by my clients. When I do hair, I make sure my clients get exactly what they asked for. My mother is another motivation when it comes to doing hair because she always keep me on my feet, tells me to always give 100% and gives me new ideas and styles to try out.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I plan to open my own suite while making sure all costs are covered. Any remaining money would go straight into savings so I can continue building a strong financial foundation supporting both my business and future goals like college and my first car.
