Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My mom. She had dementia. During the process of providing care and hiring agencies for her, I learned there is a need to help with senior care. I realized I could help seniors age with dignity in their own home instead of going into a facility losing their independence. My team gives our clients and their families peace of mind knowing their parent or loved one is safe at home and they can focus on being family instead of living a stress filled life as a caregiver.

How do you stay motivated?

I love to match the right caregiver with the right patient. It puts a smile on my face to see I've impacted the lives of our most vulnerable population.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The grant will be used to expand my home care services and ensure seniors in my community can safely age in place. Funds will support caregiver recruitment and training, background checks, and onboarding to build a reliable care team. A portion will be allocated toward community outreach an marketing to connect families with needed services, as well as operational tools as scheduling software and compliance systems. The investment will allow me to serve more seniors.
