Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I’m inspired by the resilience of families in Lebanon who continue to show strength despite unimaginable challenges. Their reality keeps me grounded and reminds me why Watani Coffee exists. I’m also inspired by women who build from nothing and trust their intuition, especially during difficult seasons of life. My journey taught me that purpose can come from pain, and that business can be a tool for real impact, not just profit.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering the “why” behind Watani Coffee. Every order represents a family in Lebanon who could benefit from that support. Knowing that something as simple as a cup of coffee can not only fuel your morning, but also fuel impact in Lebanon, keeps me going. I also stay motivated through faith, trusting that this path was placed in my heart for a reason, and that consistency will lead to greater impact over time, God willing.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to expand Watani Coffee by placing branded Watani Coffee corners inside existing businesses across Dearborn. This would increase accessibility, visibility, and daily sales while embedding our mission directly into the community. I would also invest in marketing to grow awareness and strengthen our subscription model, creating consistent, ongoing support for families in Lebanon.
