Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Barack Obama and his family was my inspiration. This family inspired me because of their love for education and how important it is to students! I also admire their royal reign as America’s first African American 1st Family! I wanted to create something educational to contribute their legacy which will be remembered in History!!

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by being innovative! I am an educator so I must keep students engaged. Due to the fact that Literacy is something that is lacking in our communities, I know it’s important to provide students with the ability to read in different ways.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I received the funding, I would invest it right back into my business, to create other literacy tools students could use to be better readers. Knowing reading is power, I want to make sure every student has that advantage, available to them.
