Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from both my daughter & the entrepreneurs I’ve worked alongside throughout my career. Watching visionary founders turn bold ideas into global brands has shown me (1) what’s possible & (2) provided a blueprint for success. My daughter keeps me grounded in the “why” behind it all. Together they inspire LinkUp—a natural, gluten-free libation, crafted to offer folks an elevated experience & a more mindful way to indulge.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by my love for the islands & the legacy I hope to leave behind. My daughter’s Caribbean heritage deepens that connection & reminds me that much of what we build is really for our children. In a world where everyone is searching for a moment of escape, the islands embody exactly that—peace, connection, & shared moments. LinkUp is my way of bringing that feeling to life—offering a taste of the islands in every pour, no matter where you are.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest in brand experiences that introduce LinkUp Rum Punch® to new audiences—premium lifestyle settings, hospitality partnerships, and curated tastings. These moments allow people to discover the product the way it was meant to be enjoyed: organically—appreciating taste and quality over gimmicks—while helping LinkUp Rum Punch® become a recognized lifestyle brand rooted in mindful consumption.
