Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I grew up in Rwanda watching my mother rebuild our lives after my father was killed during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. She became a businesswoman out of necessity, selling whatever she could, working day and night, waking up early and returning late just to put food on our table. Her resilience, discipline, and relentless work ethic shaped how I see entrepreneurship. She is the reason I believe business can be a tool for survival, dignity, and impact.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the purpose behind my company. I was born in Africa, and my work is driven by a deep commitment to give back to the continent that shaped me. I want to help train the next generation, creating opportunities for young Africans to access world-class skills, technology, and knowledge. The desire to provide what I wished I had growing up keeps me focused, driven, and committed to building something that creates lasting impact.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded the $25,000, I would invest it in strengthening the foundation of my early-stage company. The funds would support essential tools and infrastructure, including AI and data analytics software, laptops for team members, and the development of training materials for our bootcamps.
