Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration is to be able to give back to the community. The solutions I solve in business are solutions that I wish I had when I was in the military. I know if everyone had a time machine, they would go back in time to do things differently, knowing what they know now. I think business is as close to a time machine as it gets. It's not possible to go back in time butat least you're able to come up with solutions that help people not make the same mistakes as you did.

How do you stay motivated?

I have a great team in my startup that pushes each other to do better every single day. As an entrepreneur, you're not just taking care of your team but your team's family as well. So that is a huge weight on my shoulders as a founder. We've got a pretty type A personality in our team. Everyone is here pushing each other to be better every day but we're all united under a mission: to advance America's warfighting capability.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With the $25,000 I'm able to invest in R&D to build the best capabilities for our warfighters. First, I will use about $8K to develop AI models. Second, I will use $5-8k to hire a SBIR proposal writer to win government grants, and then finally, I will spend $3-5k for demonstration and sales materials. To expedite development, I will contract an engineer to accelerate the backend development. The remaining funds, I will use for administrative tasks such as IP assignments and founder agreement
