Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration is being an author; working in the medical field for over 40 plus years and having a 501 (C) (3) with a mission to serve women, children and families going through transition. I am the founder/Executive Director of Marys Miracle Mission and has committed myself to a lifelong path of “being the change and a helping hand, caring heart and that place where people can go during difficult transition. I provide training and education for jobs and career placement, when needed.

How do you stay motivated?

Maintaining momentum by building a daily routine, rewarding small victories and fostering a positive environment with supportive, like minded people. I maintain energy levels through proper sleep, meditation,nutrition and exercising. I track my progress with daily activities and to-do-list to improve confidence. Reinforce positive behavior; reduce distractions and stay focused and around positive people.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would buy a house on land bank which was always my dream to start up my business of transition homes. I believe with my Faith and attitude of gratitude with the one chance that no one ever gave me when I always took care of everyone else I definitely will make sure I invest to become the best business owner for affordable housing
