Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from being able to serve others through work I’m passionate about. I see endless opportunities to share impact through my education, my love for photography, & through creating more meaningful connections with people. I’m inspired by having the opportunities to experiment with my craft, celebrate people, shine light on what’s good, & by inspiring others to take their own path. (My wellness brand: Quest Of LLC.)

How do you stay motivated?

(My main business: Face It Photography LLC.) I stay motivated often because I enjoy what I do & forsee myself doing this for a long time. I started my business journey when I lost my job in the mental health field during COVID while also struggling with my own mental health & still. I’m no longer pursuing my initial area of study as a career. I am most passionate about this business industry as a means to support, service, & encourage others on their own journey to purpose.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’d invest in my 1st gear upgrade. I’d buy a new body camera & 1 new lens that can have the operation of the 3 lenses I currently use—that way I can carry less gear when I travel & have higher quality images overall. I’d also buy a new external speedlight, an iPad Air with a stylus, backdrop stands along with (2) 300 power strobe lights, & various light softboxes. Lastly, I’d use the remaining to advance track the lease of my 1st studio space.
