Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration stems from the intersection of technology and empathy. I am driven by the gaming community’s resilience and the belief that play is a fundamental right. Seeing a gamer use an adaptive controller to re-enter a digital world they thought was lost to them is my "North Star." I’m also inspired by the potential of non-profit models to provide high-level advocacy and resource access to the public entirely free of charge, ensuring no one is priced out of inclusion.

How do you stay motivated?

​I stay motivated by the tangible impact of our workshops and the rapid evolution of assistive technology. Every time we help a user find a custom hardware solution, it reinforces the "Inclusion Arcade" mission. The goal of making gaming accessible to all Canadians keeps me grounded, especially when collaborating with partners. Knowing that our work directly removes barriers to community and connection is all the fuel I need to keep pushing forward.

What would you do with the $25,000?

These funds would be a catalyst for our mobile workshop initiative. Specifically, I would invest in high-end adaptive hardware, such as specialized controllers, switches, and mounting kits to expand our hands-on teaching capabilities. It would also allow us to offset the logistical costs of bringing these resources to underserved communities across Canada for free, ensuring that "Inclusion Arcade" remains a zero-cost resource for the individuals and families who need it most.
