Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My firm was inspired by the crises I managed in my own family and the unaddressed trauma I saw destroying Black lives. From Oklahoma City’s suicide‑by‑cop to countless shootings of Black men, it was clear our people were carrying generational wounds with no system to protect them. The Crisis League was created to manage people before problems and reduce harm through prevention and intervention.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated because managing people before the problem saved my own family. My parents watched me skip crawling and walk—proof my steps were ordered. God keeps placing me in rooms I didn’t expect, doing work I was built for. My focus comes from giving people solutions no one else offered and turning crisis into blessing. I compete to save lives, driven by a purpose that feels bigger than me.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to stabilize my family and reinvest in the Crisis League. I’ve poured everything I have into proving this model, and while we’ve struggled financially, the mission never stopped. This funding would help secure basic stability while strengthening the systems, tools, and outreach needed to scale a crisis‑prevention model that saves lives.
