Who or what is your inspiration in business?

One of the things that inspire me in my business is showing my kids what their parents are capable of. As business owners, my husband and I have had times where we thought about giving up, putting in a job application, and saying, "well we tried!" We would then look over at one of our kids playing by our feet and realize that we owe it to ourselves and to them to figure this out. There is no plan B, only what's the next move. This is our legacy.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by leaning on my husband, God, and knowing that I am stronger than I thought I was. During my entrepreneurial journey, there were times where I felt inadequate. My husband would often speak words of life back into me and show me how far we have come. I spent many hours having intimate time with God allowing HIM to build me up because HE has called to this. I keep journals where I log moments where I shined and of lessons I am learning. This helps me to see that I got this!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I plan to "sow seeds" with the $25,000. I will invest the money by purchasing a cookie depositor to lower my cost, upgrade my packaging to retail market to hospitality partners such as Marriott. I will donate money to local schools for entrepreneurial programs. I would invest in technology to continue sharing our story and serving the people. A marketing campaign would be created to show the new way of ordering cookies is online.
