How do you stay motivated?This journey is deeply personal to me. I love wearing synthetic crochet locs, but I refuse to accept that beauty means sacrificing our health. No wig, toupee, extension, or braid wearer & styler — especially those fighting cancer or living with alopecia — should risk exposure to hazardous, cancer-causing chemicals. Knowing I can provide a solution to protect myself and our community keeps me driven every single day. We deserve beauty that is safe, and healthy for everyone.
What would you do with the $25,000?Getting this shampoo to wig, toupee, extension, or braid wearers & stylers — especially those fighting cancer and living with alopecia — is everything to me. First, I'll partner with an independent lab to validate how effectively my formula removes cancer-causing toxins such as formaldehyde and benzene. I'll also perform dermatological tests to confirm it's safe for our community. The final step will be to kick off a production run and bring this solution to everyone who needs it
