Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I am inspired by entrepreneurs who build businesses that bring people together. I grew up in Oakville and started my real estate career in 1997, helping people navigate life’s biggest moves. Since then I have built several ventures … co-hosting the The Nucking Futz podcast, co-owning a Junior A hockey team creating opportunities for young athletes, and building a seven figure jewelry brand on Etsy.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by building things that impact people and light me up. Real estate allows me to help people through major life transitions, which keeps me grounded and driven. I am also energized by entrepreneurship and authenticity in business and life … growing the Nucking Futz podcast, supporting our Junior A hockey team, and designing jewelry collections that now reach customers around the world.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the funding into expanding the platforms I have built around entrepreneurship, media, and community. This includes growing the reach of the Nucking Futz podcast, producing more educational content around real estate and entrepreneurship, and scaling the online presence of my jewelry brand. My goal is to continue building businesses that create opportunity and inspire others to pursue their own ideas.
