Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration is the generation of Caribbean entrepreneurs who built something from nothing, not with venture capital, but with community, land, and trust. I grew up watching people in Jamaica pool resources and create real wealth through discipline and collective ownership. That model never left me. I’m also deeply inspired by the digital nomad movement itself, millions of people rewriting the rules of work and life. Bunkrmate exists at that intersection.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the gap I see every day between what Jamaica offers and what the world knows about it. There’s a version of this island, its people, its land, its energy, that hasn’t been properly introduced to the global economy yet. That’s not a problem, it’s an opportunity. When things get hard, I zoom out and remember that we’re not just building a platform. We’re building a proof of concept for what Caribbean-led tourism entrepreneurship can look like

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25,000 goes directly into activating The Outpost Summit by the Sea, Bunkrmate’s inaugural digital nomad conference in Negril, Jamaica, August 2026. Specifically: securing the venue deposit, funding the first round of speaker and partner outreach, and launching the attendee marketing campaign. The Summit is our proof of concept, 100 to 250 nomads on the ground in Jamaica, spending, exploring, and choosing to stay longer. That event seeds the entire Bunkrmate ecosystem and puts us on th
