Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My children are my greatest inspiration! My oldest, now 26, and I regularly exchange business ideas, challenging each other to refine our vision, and our legacy. My middle child, just 5 years old, is the heart behind Penelope and the Bee. She inspires our fabric and color selections with her creativity and joy. And my youngest, at 3, already demonstrates a natural sense of leadership during our planning sessions. Their fearlessness encourages me to boldly pursue my wildest dreams!

How do you stay motivated?

I remain motivated because the alternative of a life of untapped potential and lingering regret is simply not an option. I intentionally recognize and celebrate the small wins along the way. I know that Penelope and the Bee is apart of my purpose, my journey, and my legacy. The excitement I feel when I envision the pride my children and I will share as Penelope and the Bee comes to life affirms that I am on the right path.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would allocate the funds as such, $10,000 on 3 -4 hero product development, and inventory, $300 logo revision, $2,200 tags, product photography, and package design, $800 s-corp registration, and account set up, $2,200 shipping supplies, and inventory tracking $5,000 ads, launch event, influencer, marketing software, $1,800 SEO set up, web design, domain and email, $1,200 cash reserve for delayed production, unexpected fees and shipping cost, and $1,500 will be invested back into my community.
