Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from resilience and purpose. As a refugee, cancer survivor, and entrepreneur, I’ve learned success means lifting others along the way. I’m inspired daily by the professionals I work with and by the opportunity to serve beyond business—on the Board of Directors for the DeVry Scholarship Fund and as a Midwest leadership volunteer for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition—helping create opportunity, education, and hope for others.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by purpose, resilience, and my three miracle children. After surviving cancer and building a life from humble beginnings, they remind me every day why perseverance matters. My work empowering professionals in the beauty industry, serving on the Board of the DeVry Scholarship Fund, and volunteering with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Midwest fuels my drive to create opportunities and inspire others to keep going.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the $25,000 into expanding education, mentorship, and leadership opportunities for entrepreneurs and professionals—especially within the beauty industry. As a mother of three miracle children, I’m deeply committed to building a future of opportunity. I would also support initiatives aligned with my philanthropic work through the DeVry Scholarship Fund and the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Midwest.
