Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from seeing how design can actually change lives. As a Product Designer and a mother, I’m inspired by the challenge of making technology accessible for everyone, especially seniors. I believe that good business isn't just about profit; it’s about solving a real human struggle. Seeing my father's age and realizing the gap in health monitoring tools inspired me to build GuardianPulse. I want to prove that great tech can come from anywhere, including Nigeria.

How do you stay motivated?

My motivation comes from my three children and the desire to build a legacy they can be proud of. Every time I hit a roadblock in my design work or a project gets tough, I remember why I started: to create solutions that give families peace of mind. I stay grounded through daily prayer, and by staying connected to the community of builders I’m part of. Seeing a problem and knowing I have the skills to design a solution is what keeps me showing up every single day.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to move GuardianPulse from a design case study to a fully functional MVP. This funding would allow me to hire the necessary engineering talent to build the backend and integrate the vitals-monitoring features. It would also help cover the initial costs for secure data hosting and marketing to reach the families who need this most. My goal is to get this tool into the hands of caregivers as quickly as possible to start saving lives and reducing stress.
