Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from my patients in rural communities who continue to face barriers to care. Their resilience drives me to build solutions that expand access. I am also inspired by nurse practitioner leaders who challenged the status quo and paved the way for autonomous practice. Their courage reminds me that meaningful change in healthcare starts with those willing to lead.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the impact I see every day. When a patient gains access to care they otherwise would not have, it reinforces why I started. I set clear goals, stay grounded in my mission, and surround myself with leaders who challenge me to grow. Progress in both my practice and policy work keeps me focused and moving forward.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest in expanding access to care in rural communities by enhancing services at my practice and supporting outreach initiatives. Funds would be used to integrate additional preventive and wellness programs, improve patient access through technology, and support advocacy efforts that advance autonomous practice. This investment would directly impact patient care while creating a scalable model for other communities.
