Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration lives in the heartbeat of my community and the eyes of my daughter. As a lifelong member of this neighborhood, I’ve seen potential stifled by circumstance. My business is built on love. We don't just develop dancers, we build law-abiding, educated, good human beings. Whether it's support, with food, family support, drug counseling, college prep/enrollment, job placement, education tutoring, and life preparation. We deserve a foundation, not just continued survival mode.

How do you stay motivated?

My daughter sparked the initial flame, but it is our dancers, parents, and community that keep it alive and thriving. Their achievements, who have gone on to prestigious institutions like Juilliard, Alvin Ailey, Harvard, USC, and UCLA, fuel my passion for nurturing the next generation. What would you do with the $25,000?

Every dollar invested will provide visibility for dancers and the community: $15,000 will cover scholarships, teaching staff, and necessary operational expenses. $3,000 will support Parent Workforce Grants. Furthermore, $7,000 will facilitate “Community Stage” events, offering pop-up recitals in parks, libraries, and shelters, thereby bringing art to those who need it most and showcasing our talented dancers.
