Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from resilience. As a survivor of domestic violence, I had to rebuild my life from the ground up while raising my children. That journey taught me that courage and opportunity can change lives. It inspired me to write my book and build businesses and a nonprofit that help women reclaim their confidence, independence, and voice.

How do you stay motivated?

Purpose keeps me going. I know what it feels like to rebuild life after everything falls apart. Every time a woman finds the courage to start over, build a business, or believe in herself again, it reminds me why the work matters. Helping others rise from survival to strength is the fuel that keeps me building businesses that generate opportunity and reinvest that growth into empowering women to rebuild their lives through entrepreneurship and leadership.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the funding into scaling my consulting platforms by expanding leadership programs, digital training resources, and operational systems. Strengthening these businesses creates sustainable revenue that fuels my nonprofit’s work supporting women rebuilding their independence through entrepreneurship, mentorship, and economic empowerment.
