Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My deepest motivation is to build communities where people feel safe, seen, and free to express their full selves. I believe business is not just about generating income; it’s about generating impact. I discovered this during my first program when I met a mother of nine living in her van, struggling to find safe, affirming care for her children. Her story clarified my purpose: to create spaces where families like hers can find hope, belonging, and quality, affirming education.

How do you stay motivated?

I am motivated by the children and families that I serve. Healing communities is my life’s work and my greatest motivation. The impact it makes when we choose to support and lift each other up is long lasting. Continuing my own personal growth and healing journey pushes me forward as well. I’ve been supported by organizations like Black Wildflower where I received a grant to become Montessori certified and I intend to now use that education to pour back into my own local community.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With 25,000 dollars, I will continue transforming our building into more than a school—it will remain a welcoming hub for families and our wider community. Parents can work, restore, and connect in our coworking, yoga, and breathwork spaces, while Wild Soul Collective opens its doors after school and on weekends for healing-centered events and retreats. We will also grow our take-one-leave-one community store, so every neighbor can experience the dignity and joy of giving and receiving.
