My lived experience with homelessness inspired me to create Dignity for Divas. I wanted to build the support system I once needed. Seeing women rebuild their lives, move into housing, and regain stability reminds me every day why this work matters.
How do you stay motivated?I stay motivated by purpose. Having experienced homelessness myself, I know how life-changing the right support can be. Watching women rebuild their lives, secure housing, and regain confidence reminds me every day why this work matters and pushes me to keep expanding the impact of Dignity for Divas.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest the $25,000 into expanding the Diva Internship Program at Dignity for Divas. The program provides paid training and hands-on experience for women who have experienced homelessness by working within our organization. Interns gain real skills while helping support other women and graduate with the skills and confidence needed to pursue employment with outside companies.
