Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I was born in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where opportunity was scarce and survival required creativity. I learned life skills early from carpentry to masonry because you had to create opportunity where none existed. Football opened a door, helped cultivate my discipline. Losing both my parents at a young age shaped my resolve. Those experiences drive me to build the future today and through Vital Audio, expanding access to care for the overlooked.

How do you stay motivated?

My motivation comes from perspective. Growing up in Tanzania taught me how to work with very little and still build something meaningful. Several life-lessons reinforced discipline, resilience, and the belief that you can create opportunity where none exists. Losing my parents at a young age forced me to mature quickly and gave me a deep sense of responsibility to make my life count. That mindset carries into building Vital Audio solving hard problems that can improve people’s lives.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to accelerate the expansion of our technology reach globally into more clinical environments serving patients who lack continuous access to care. The funding would support additional deployment with healthcare providers, and product scaling so more patients can be supported between visits without additional devices. The mission is simple: make life-saving health insight accessible anywhere a voice can be heard.
