How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remembering my purpose. When I see young people learning skills, building confidence, and realizing they can create their own opportunities, that keeps me going. My motivation comes from knowing the work I’m doing is bigger than me, it’s about changing lives and building a legacy.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were awarded the $25,000, I would invest it directly into expanding the impact of Boss Kids Braiding Academy Our program teaches youth ages 7–17 professional braiding skills, entrepreneurship, and confidence while providing a positive alternative to street influences. The funding would allow us to purchase additional training equipment like mannequin heads, braiding hair, styling tools, and learning stations so we can serve more students at once.
