Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from the resilience of refugees in Kakuma who build something from nothing every day. Seeing young people overcome hardship, avoid drugs, and rebuild their lives motivates me. I am also inspired by leaders who use business as a tool for social change, proving that impact and sustainability can go hand in hand.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the transformation I see in the people I work with. When young people leave drugs, gain discipline through boxing, or when women gain confidence and income, it reminds me why I started. Even in difficult moments, I focus on the lives being changed and the hope we are creating in the community.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest in expanding our programs in Kakuma by improving training facilities, supporting youth and women with skills and small business opportunities, and strengthening mentorship programs. The funding would help us reach more vulnerable people, reduce drug use among youth, and create sustainable pathways for income and personal growth.
