Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business has always been my father. He taught me that education and your business are the two things no one can ever take from you. Growing up in India with little to no money, he came to America and built multiple businesses across different industries. Through my work in education, I hope to make a meaningful impact on every child. As part of the 1.8% of women who will hold a PhD, I strive to inspire others to become the most educated version of themselves.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by focusing on growth and purpose. Since childhood, my biggest fear has been being unsuccessful, and that fear pushes me to become the best version of myself every day. The future leaders of tomorrow inspire me to create a learning environment where every child can thrive; because children learn in different ways, I use my experience in education and early development to support each child’s unique learning style.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded $25,000, I would invest the funds in strengthening education quality by supporting curriculum-aligned educational materials and tools. I would also use the funding to promote early literacy, social-emotional development, and hands-on learning experiences. Additionally, I would expand access to supportive services that help identify and address early intervention needs, ensuring every child receives the resources necessary to thrive.
