Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business comes from the women I serve and those who came before me. Through Precious Cargo, I witness how support, education, and advocacy can change outcomes for families. I am driven to build a purpose driven business that addresses gaps in maternal health while honoring my ancestral legacy in birth work and creating lasting impact in my community.

How do you stay motivated?

stay motivated by remembering my why. The families I serve, the impact of my work, and the legacy I am building keep me grounded. Even on challenging days, I know that what I do has purpose. Seeing lives changed through education, support, and advocacy fuels me to keep showing up, growing, and pushing forward.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest in scaling Precious Cargo by expanding access to childbirth education and doula services for underserved families. Funds would support training and onboarding more doulas, enhancing marketing to reach more communities, and growing the Precious Cargo Foundation’s programs like community baby showers and resource distribution. This would allow us to serve more families and create lasting impact.
