How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by the ripple effect. When someone discovers a small creator they would have never found otherwise… when a thoughtful gift strengthens a relationship… when a business owner tells me a feature helped them gain new customers — that keeps me going. Entrepreneurship can be hard, but seeing connection happen in real time reminds me why OhGiftPlease exists: to celebrate people, stories, and the joy we create for one another. What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to take OhGiftPlease beyond the screen and into real communities. The funds would support pop-up events, creator showcases, and marketing campaigns that help people discover purpose-driven small businesses in person — especially LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and women-owned brands whose stories deserve visibility. The goal is simple: create more opportunities for meaningful creators to be seen, supported, and celebrated. Because when one small business grows, the ripple spreads.
